In search of the ‘Perfect Family’ | Bay Area Family Portraits | FREE Photography Session

Tired of the typical posed family photos? Ever want to capture a family outing and get everyone in the picture? Or capture those precious candid moments with your kids that your point and shoot always misses?

Come on a photo adventure with me…

I’m on the lookout for the ‘perfect family’ for a fun FREE family photo session (a $300 value). In the coming months, I am going to launch some exciting new family portrait options and products. I need a fantastic family to go on a photo adventure with. Imagine a day-trip exploring San Francisco or a day at the beach or a family outing at a County Fair. All with me as your photographer to capture the perfect candid moments and the perfect family interactions.

The free photo session will take place sometime this fall and will probably last an entire afternoon.

What does a ‘perfect family’ mean?

No, you don’t have to be models or like the families you see in commercials. Perfect means that you are adventurous, open, fun, creative, relaxed, carefree, and filled with love for each other. Families of all compositions are welcome.

Some other requirements:

- Must be a family of no more than five people.

- Youngest child must be at least 5 years old.

- Must have more than one child.

Steps required in order to be considered:

If you haven’t ‘liked’ my Facebook page, go ahead and ‘like’ it now.
Send me a recent photo of your family (no professional photos needed) to my email (ts@tophersimon.com) by September 12, 2011.
- SUBJECT: Perfect Family Adventure
- BODY:
• Parents’ full names
• Your cell phone
• The city you live in
• A list of the names and ages of everyone in your family
• A little bit about your family.

I will contact the selected family soon after submissions end on September 12. We will then begin brainstorming details on what we want our photo adventure to be.

If your family is not selected for the photo adventure, you will still receive a $50 gift certificate towards a standard session fee ($200).

What the selected family will receive after the free photo session:

$75 print credit for use in the online gallery
Access to a professional lab to purchase prints
Option to purchase a disk of all the images from the session
Option to purchase any of the exciting products I will launch soon after.

Fine Print:

Photo submitted must contain all members of the family that will go on the photo adventure. Family must sign a portrait agreement with a model release. Family must live in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to travel to the Bay Area for the portrait session. Must be new clients only. Pets allowed on the photo adventure contingent on the location.

Photography for Business Professionals – August Mini-Session

The details:

Location: TBD (it will be within 10 miles of Palo Alto, CA)
When: August 6, 2011 – 3-7pm
How long: 30 minute session
How much: $100 (normal independent session is $200)
What does it include?: Includes the 30 minute session and your choice of three final images to be sent to you electronically. The final images will be digitally retouched.

Referral Program

My clients come from all different places. Some find me through Yelp, some find me through Google searches, and some have picked up my business card somewhere out there in the world. But one of my favorite things to have happen is to have friends and family refer me directly. I love it when I hear: “Anne said you were a fantastic photographer and I had to see!” I love this so much that I’m starting a referral program to thank those friends and family members that say, “Hey, go check out Topher’s work on his website!”

What does this referral program look like?

If you refer me to someone for wedding photography services and they choose me as their photographer, I will send you a $50 Visa debit card.

If you refer me to someone for headshots or family portraits or any type of portrait session, you’ll receive a $50 gift certificate for a future portrait session or for use towards print credit from a previous session.

So I want to THANK YOU all in advanced for sending people my way.
