Santa Cruz Wedding Photography | Neva and Shannon
I’ve been friends with Neva and Shannon for almost two years now and I was honored when they asked me to be their wedding photographer. They got married on November 11, 2011 at 1:11pm. From their engagement session, I knew that nothing about them and their wedding was going to be traditional and I loved it! These two girls have a very go-with-the-flow attitude and not even a little rain could ruin their special day. The original plan was to convene casually on the beach at 1:11pm where their friends and family would surround them as they committed their lives to each other. What with it being Santa Cruz, the weather is hit or miss and then ended up moving the wedding to the rental house that they had rented for the cocktail hour and party later in the evening. It was perfect! Their friends and family made the place an ideal setting for the wedding, so much so that Neva and Shannon commented about how it was always meant to be this way. From two levels, the couple was surrounded by friends and family as they gave their vows. They even brought the beach in with them as they stood barefoot in sand on a platform Neva’s father built. It was such a great day! Enjoy the story of this lovely couple and the love they shared with their friends and family.

Monterey Wedding Photography | Robin and Jason | Monterey Museum of Art-La Mirada
Had such an amazing time at this wedding. Every detail seemed to come together perfectly, from the lighting to the schedule. It has been so awesome getting to know Robin and Jason over this last year. From their engagement session, they instantly showed me their fun goofy side. These are some of my favorites that tell the story of their special day.

Berkeley Wedding Photography | Russ and Karly’s Wedding | The Faculty Club
Karly and Russ got married at such an unusually unique place, right on UC Berkeley’s campus. The Faculty Club has an amazing tree growing in the back of the building. It made for the perfect backdrop for a simple wedding.
They also had a couple amazing family heirlooms, an old pocket watch and a family bible, both of which date back to the late 1800s. Such unique treasures to incorporate in such a unique day for the cute couple.
Check out the photos! It was great second shooting this wedding for SAS photography.
