Brad and Lauren | A look to the past and to the future | Wild Basin Lodge Wedding | Estes Park, Colorado
This wedding was super special to me. I’ve known Lauren since middle school. In high school we got to be great friends, passing the time together in home room, or practicing knowledge bowl questions at lunch. We were also super nerdy at the time. We were in video production together and wanted to go into film school someday. Then we graduated high school and went our separate ways, she went to Boulder, and I went to San Francisco and I eventually moved to France. When I got back from Paris and moved to Palo Alto, I learned that Lauren was in the area too! She had met this guy named Brad in college and followed him out to the west coast where he was getting his Ph. D. It was so great to reconnect with her and become friends again. When she went away to PA school, I got the chance to get to know Brad even more, occasionally dog sitting or house sitting. About two years ago, when I was just starting my photography business they asked me to do their engagement photos. Here’s a look back at my very first engagement session. Continue reading

Bob and Jessica’s Wedding | Ardenwood Historic Farm | Fremont Wedding Photography
One of my two weddings in August was Bob and Jessica’s wedding held at the Ardenwood Historic Farm. The wedding was beautifully framed in front of a cute gazebo next to a gorgeous turn of the century estate and surrounded by corn fields, pumpkin patches, and barns. This venue is amazing. If you’re planning your wedding to be around sunset, the lighting is just right to have some amazing shots next to old fashioned trains on train tracks or in the beautifully lit reception area with glowing orange lights. Oh, and did I mention they have horse drawn carriages?
Here are some of my favorite photos that I shot as second shooter for SAS Photography. Enjoy!

Eric and Nancy’s Wedding | Piedmont Community Hall | Oakland Wedding Photography
Back in May, I was a second shooter for Eric and Nancy’s wedding. I had a great time at the wedding, mostly because they were so relaxed the whole day.
Piedmont Community Hall in Oakland is really cute and has a beautiful reception hall and a park surrounding it.
Here are some of my favorite photos that I shot as second shooter for BW Lee Photography. Enjoy!
