This family portrait session was so relaxed. The two kids were such great sports and had no problem posing for the camera (which comes as no surprise since their daddy is a photographer too). I know the mom, Desiree, from one of my networking groups where she represents her business as a copy writer. In fact, she did some of the copy on my upcoming website. Desiree’s sister was in town which made for a great excuse to have a family portrait taken. Enjoy!

Had such a fun time with this family, although I think the little guy was more excited about the ice cream he was getting after the session. He and I played hide and seek from his parents and went on our own little exploring adventure in the trees. Palo Alto has some really nice parks and Elizabeth Gamble Gardens is no exception. These guys are totally adorable together. It was such a fun adventure in downtown San Jose finding different backgrounds and lighting. We slowly made our way to Gordon Biersch where the two met over six years ago. They’re getting married this summer at Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph in San Jose. They already had a wedding photographer so this was mostly just for fun. Lana won a contest I held awhile back on my Facebook page. Only 8 months old, this little girl is adorable. We went to a park in Menlo Park for this family photography session. It was a perfect day after a very rainy couple of weeks and lots of rescheduling. This was such a great afternoon family photoshoot at the Palace of Fine Arts and Baker Beach in San Francisco. They came all the way from France and were visiting family in the bay area. It was so nice working with this couple. Sahaja was absolutely radiant. She called me a week before she was due saying that she really wanted to have a ‘baby bump’ session to document this moment. The timing of the shoot couldn’t have worked out better. The very next day after the session, Sahaja and Sathyam welcomed into the world a little boy. I’m so happy for them and grateful I got to be a part of creating these photographs.

This couple is picture perfect (haha, first time ever I’ve used a frame as a prop and I loved it!) Joe and Jessica are simply adorable together. I have never heard as much laughing during a session as I did with them. At one point, Jessica commented on how she wasn’t expecting that taking pictures was going to be so much fun. We went to such an amazing place for the photos. A little farm in Los Altos Hills named Hidden Villa. It’s truly a gem of a place with olive groves, animals, open fields, valleys, and heart-shaped barn door latches. Here are some of my favorites from the session. Enjoy!
